Join us for a powerful conversation with Dr. Kizzy Albritton. This event will offer valuable insights into the unique mentoring needs of Black women in academia, informed by Dr. Albritton's experience mentoring female school psychology Ph.D. students of color. We welcome anybody interested in the topic, especially undergraduates considering graduate school and current graduate students. This discussion will explore why more Black women should pursue scholarship, the critical role of purposeful mentorship, and how to seek and build supportive mentor-mentee relationships.
This event is co-sponsored by AAUW WCU and the WCU Black Faculty & Staff Assembly.
